minimized web pages

For the last couple day's, each time I click a hyperlink on a web page it comes up very minimized. Shows browser only. Of course when I maximize, it opens fully. I saw on the internet, that if you maximize and close the browser, it would be right the next time. Wrong and it's very irritating. If anyone knows how to correct this, I would appreciate it.

Since this problem occurs with MSIE for me I am assuming you are talking about MSIE ... right? Maximizing then closing the main MSIE window (first one that opens when you click the icon) will solve the problem of IE launching in a non-maximized state. However, this method will not solve the problem of the small (not maximized) browser windows that open when you click links on web pages. To improve things a little you can try the following step... I’ll use the PC Mechanic site for shared familiarity. This method will not open additional browser windows maximized but they can be full screen sized...

1-While connected to the Internet close all MSIE windows.
2-Reopen MSIE and got to www.pcmech.com
3-Click on one of the forum threads displayed in the table towards the bottom of the page.
4-Resize the window that opens to fill the whole screen (or to whatever size you like)-maximizing it will not work.
5-Close the main browser window first (PC Mechanic home page) then close the second window (forum thread)
6-Reopen MSIE, maximize it and then close it again (if you don’t want MSIE to open maximized you can skip this step).
7-Redo steps 2 and 3 and the second browser window should open in the size you resized it to in step 4.

I’m using MSIE 5.5 but I would imagine that this procedure is applicable to most recent (4.x onwards) versions of MSIE.
