Opera Browser...
Has anyone tried the Opera Browser? I just installed it and so far I think
I prefer it over IE. It seems to run much faster than IE as far as loading the pages and as far as downloading files/programs. I was wondering if anyone knows if you get rid of the IE Browser if you can still use Outlook Express as the mail program? And also would getting rid of IE have any effect on other programs, like Windows Media and Direct X? |

I don't think that there is an easy way of uninstalling IE, I may be wrong. But I do use the Opera browser and agree that for me, it functions much better than IE.

Hi justbarron
I kind of had a feeling that it would be difficult to get rid of just the IE Browser. It seems like so many things are tied up with it. I uninstalled the Netscape browser a long time ago and that was quick and easy with no problems. |
