Which browser do you use?

What browser do you guys/gals use. I hear that Opera is a good, fast browser. Anyone have any other suggestions?

IE6, I started with Netscape, then went to IE when it was introduced. Now I am so familiar with IE and how it works, troubleshooting, ect. I just do not fell right with any other one even though I tried Opera (A true Nerd Program)

Most of the time, I use IE. When I encounter pages that won't load in IE, I use Netscape. Ironically, the Microsoft web site is one of those sites that gives IE the most trouble for me. It's probably because I don't have a full install of IE and MS probably uses all of the whistles and bells at their site.

Was born as and will die as a Netscape user. When Netscape falls prey to complete dismemberment by AOL, on to Mozilla .

opera works great, and it's very fast. i specially love the mouse gestures, really speeds stuff up.
IE works great for displaying stuff really nice-looking, but it does frequently crash like many MS progs. netscape is fast, but very dumb in terms of it's css support.
mozilla is nice and stable, but not much faster than IE and a little less clean in terms of it's html parser

IE5.5 mostly

IE5.5 BECAUSE it gives the most security most of the time. I have opera, sometimes it works where IE won't. I've tried Mozilla 0.9.7 but get a corrupt install every time on ME machine. Got rid of Netscape when concerns were raised about the profiling parts of it. I would like to hear WHY you like the browsers you use, whether like one guy said, he's just used to it, or if there are conscious decisions to use or not use it.

I was going to upgrade to IE6, but it has some serious security issues, some firewall and proxy programs don't want to run with it. Thanks

Cool

netscape 4.79 here
i tried upgrading to 6.2 but its too xp-like for me (running 98se here)

i use IE a lot also but I find that netscape is faster (although it freezes far too much)

netscape also to protest microsofts domination of the computer universe

I agree that netscape 4.x is much better than 6.x I found 6 to be bloated, with to many "integrated" program, bars etc...

I use IE6, basically because its the standard..

I have netscape 4 and 6 and opera..

someone called Opera a nerd browser :P You should try lynx, now thats a nerd browser

Coding for all these different browsers is really a problem, i try to test any sites I make in as many browsers as possible.

Im not a fan of netscape, but I must say that the improvement from 6.0 to 6.2 was quite noticeable.. after 6.0 i thought for sure they were doomed, it was big, slow, ugly, crashy, etc, i never used it.. but (Again just for the sake of testing) i upgraded to 6.2 and its pretty good... still has that annoying loading screen, though, which IE doesnt..

IE loads when you boot, NS loads when you click it, therefore the loading screen.
