Ok, I'm teaching a negibor friend of mine how to build a simple website with pictures adn videos. I currently have him using Dreamweaver 4 but he keeps sking off into all the advance features of the program and its killing me tring to answer all these questions. So I need a program for begginers to make extreamly simple websites. Someting so simple its an insult to experts like me. We need to be able to insert pictures, text ect. and link to downloadable videos. Thanks.

Let him use Notepad or any other text editor. That way he will learn HTML first.

I like to use a Frontpage and Notepad together. Do some coding, paste it in to FP, tweak it, etc...
My sites are nothing flashy, but they work for me. Site 1 Site 2

geocities or homestead have simple, easy to use page builders. Geocities is the most flexible with more options. Both are free and I have several pages. I didn't want to learn HTML.

Yeah, well, I'm looking for more of a program than a internet site interface.
