I've been trying to repair some issues with connecting via router on dsl.
In the Network in Control Panel, there is a screen with NetBios over tcp/ip protocol checked and grayed out. I understand I do not want that checked. If so, how do I uncheck since it is grayed out? Carl |

it is a protocol used by default in older networks, todays newer systems does not use it anymore, just have tcp/ip as a standard now.
if insome lans where there is a older computer one can install netbues to make all work, but it is not normally necessary. |
