download managers

try one of the many download managers so that partial downloads can be restarted.....some like Go!zilla, or Download Accelerator, I like Getright ....
just go to ZDnet and do a search........

I'd advise against GoZilla. It's a portal to spammers since its ad based.
GetRight gave me lots of problems with links that didn't work and files that couldn't be downloaded.

I'm using Download Express right now and love it: no ads, no spam, no problems, easy to set up and fast to download. You can find it at http://www.metaproducts.com/
