IE Connection Problems

I have IE 6.0, cable connection, and XP Pro. Everything was fine but then I started having problems where AIM and IE wouldnt connect and open pages. I know the connection is operational because Windows Task Manager says it is.

What could the problem be?

Thanks,
Josh

Check to see if you have VPN in your Network settings, if you do remove it. I was looking at a computer today that was having this problem after they had reinstalled to OS, it turned out that this was the problem. Just go to the control panel and click on the Network Icon
