Alset help express
This evening, while my son was surfing, somehow, some software called "Alset help express" was installed on my machine without his knowledge.
I discovered it later this evening, when I clicked on my icon to connect (dialup) and another message came up to "Check for high speed available" and "Tell me more". I canceled and tried again, and also tried another ISP dialup. It always came up with that message. I then found that some software had been installed in C:\Program Files\Alset . MSCONFIG also showed that it had installed itself into my startup. Does anyone know what it is or if this is a virus? In the above mentioned folder is a file called "UninstHX.bat" . Is it Ok to run that? TIA Dwight |

Usually viruses don't appear in his way, I haven't heard of a virus like this.
Download Ad Aware, if it's a spyware, this program will remove it. It's available @ www.download.com |
