XCOPY problem

I posted a thread a little while ago about copying .url files (ie internet shortcuts) using a .bat file and it was suggested that I use XCOPY to copy the directory structure over. Now this worked on my computer but not on the computers I wanted it to work on...

My question is: does XCOPY only work with newer versions of DOS? It's likely that the computers it didn't work on have an older version installed as they are 'living fossils' (running Win 95), if you get my drift.

Cheers...

Go to www.bootdisk. com and get a Windows 95 bootdisk so that it is the right version of DOS for those computers.
