Slow access to Road Runner

Until a couple of days ago when I clicked on IE my access to browser was almost instantaneous. Now it changes color and hourglass comes and the turns off and nothing for up to a couple of minutes. Then things start to happen at fairly high speed , also when I click on a link in a site sometimes it works sometimes not when it always worked before. Is there someway to test my link with RR to see if it works properly

Go to the phone book and get the Time-Warner cable Help line phone number. When you call it you will get an option to re-authorize the converter box, follow the instructions. I was told a long time ago by the People at road runner tech support to do this when I had problems connectiong and it works everytime.
