Angry Fire Receiving blank e-mail

My friend recently got a new laptop Dell. Plus got DSL. In addition, she got her desktop overhauled (increased the ram, and I think the bits). She uses Netscape as I do...

Well, she suddenly started getting blank e-mails. We have a small group that corresponds with each other...and the rest of us get the mail fine. She does not seem to have the problem when retrieving mail on her laptop (which she doesn't like too well, cause the keyboard is too small). Most of the blank mail comes from one person on aol, and one on a cable modem. They use IE. She is using Netscape 4.77.

I have tried to help...to no avail, but told her you guys here are so very smart. Is there something she could check and look at. The felow who upgraded her desktop told her to go into her address book, and uncheck the "receive html"s. She did that to no avail. I told her that has nothing to do with it, and she has had those checked for ages with no problems.

Any idea what she could look at?
Thanx.

splat

Open Outlook Express, click on tools, select message rules and see if any rules have been set up to block msgs.

Would that affect Netscape Communicator.....she does not use Outlook Express.....neither do I, as I do not care for it...tho I know some folks do.
Does this mean that perhaps mail from folks using OE would arrive blank?
Forgive me......I am confused!

Cool

Sorry for bad post. I know nothing about Netscape. I saw she was using Netscape for the browser, but assumed wrong that she was using Outlook Express provided with Windows for mail. Good luck.
