Lost password
Hello all
I use outlook express for my cable modem dsl mail. I somehow forgot a password for a screen name I no longer want. Is there anyway to search my files to find an embedded password? or possibly a program that can retrieve it. Thank you in advance. Ps. My cable subscriber can't help me out saying it is embedded in the outlook software thanks again |

Your cable company doesn't have an account maintenance page? I've done the same thing before. I went to the account maintenance page and was able to change the password for the alias without having to input the original password. I guess it let me do this since I was logged in under the master account. It should at least have an option of letting you delete the alias without having to have the password.

Thanks Jason
My provider said there was nothing that they can do for me but I got help from someone else who showed me how to edit the registry. I was able to access the screen name. I tried deleting this topic right after I solved it but I wasn't allowed Thanks again |
