I personally like Morpheus since it's the only one that doesn't have spyware. I don't use it too often though.

WinMX does not have spyware and is definately much better than Morpheus.

I agree with Rick Hall. WinMX does not have spyware and IMHO is by far better than Morpheus.

Kazaa here. It's pretty hard to beat 500,000 users at any given time.

I'd get way too many virii from Morpheus/Kazaa downloads (they are one in the same afterall). If I can't find it from AudioGalaxy or a newsgroup, then I'll use WinMX.

I want Napster back!!!!! I think they all pretty much suck. You can find pretty much anything you want with Kazaa, but it has spyware and that stupid Bonzi buddy popping up on you. Morpheus is good, but it is not as popular as Kazaa, so you won't find the selection. Winmx could be the best one out there, but I don't like the way it puts you in a que to download, I have let it sit for days in que and the file still has not started. Winmx is also very slow. A song that might take 2 minutes to download with Kazaa may take 10 with winmx, that is with a cable connection. Damn Metallica!!!!

Spyware monitors you internet habits and sends information back to the author. It is supposed to determine what your interests are so you can be bombarded with banners for advertisers that might interest you. The programs run in the background on your system and rob your resources. Read about spyware here. And get rid of it with Ad-aware.

KuhnDog-- Do you think you could shorten that signature just a bit -- it's twice or three times as long as your posts and that's almost as annoying as SHOUTING!

Sorry about that craig. my friend loged on to my account and screwed with all my settings and my signature. Anways Thanks for thoes links usless_1. One question about ad-ware though. Is there anyway you could screw your computer up with it. I breifly read about it and noticed it said it searches for spy-ware programs and ask if you want to delete them. is there any way that by erasing them you can erase something that is need for your computer?

KuhnDog

Sorry this post might not make any sense!

I never heard of ad-aware messing up anyones system. Many people on these pages rave about that program. I am pretty sure that it gives you an option to backup whatever you are about to change so if a problem arises, you can undo your changes.

I use Ad-Aware and have never had any problems. You are usually just deleting cookies, and that will not screw anything up. In fact, you could simply delete all your cookies manually and accomplish almost the same thing. The bad thing about that, and the good thing about Ad-Aware, is that Ad-Aware will only delete the spyware cookies, not the cookies that are useful (for example, the cookie that keeps you logged into other sites like this one).

Ok well thats a plus. Im glad they designed it so you can go back if you deleted something that was needed. Thanks for the helpful information.
