Can't access PC Mech Web Site

For the last three days, I've been having problems accessing PC Mech on my P2450.

All I've been getting is the PC Mech logo at the top left-hand corner of the screen and then it takes about five minutes to load the home page and up to five minutes to move from link to link.

This is not happening with any other Web Site.

The only changes to the system over the last week was uninstalling InnoculateIt anti-virus and installing their new EZ Anti-Virus.

I got my T/bird 1200 back today from a friend who had borrowed it and managed to access PC Mech without a problem. BTW I have installed the new Anti-Virus on the T/Bird as well.

Does anyone have any ideas on why PC Mech (and only PC Mech) is loading so slowly on the P2450.

Yea, because the ad servers really suck, but somethings gotta pay for the site too. Get yourself Ad-Subtract and you'll find once the ads are gone, everything is much faster.

I had my suspicions about the ad servers as I couldn't get past the opening ad.

However, the problem seems to have cleared up. I had emptied the Internet Cache folder a few days ago but some cookies (including a PC Mech one) remained. When I deleted them manually tonight, I was able to access the site.

Either something else has changed or maybe a corrupt cookie caused the problem -a little mystery.

I've been having the same problem. I assumed it had to be the site, and it would get fixed soon. Now it works fine. Kudos to those of you in charge of running this thing.
