IE 6.5 compared to IE 5.5?
Thinking about upgrading to IE 6.0. IE 5.5 seems to work reasonably well here. Is 6.0 that much faster or better? Should I stick with IE 5.5?

Lawman, got it on 3 pc's after using 5.5. It "feels" faster but I wouldn't hesitate going back to 5.5.

I think I have less problems with Netscape 4 than I did with IE6, much less the security concerns. IE 5.5 is what I have on most of my machines.

Ron,
I haven't had any problems with IE6. It seems faster. The thing I like about it is the "Privacy" tab in tools. You sure can restrict cookie loading with it. Carl |

I have IE6 on all of my PC's and have no problems. In fact I've been running IE6 since the first beta version and won't have anything to do with IE5.

If you do go with IE6 be sure to get all the updates. The most recent is one of the most important. They discovered a bug that will allow a web page to run ANY executable on your machine. A big oops in my mind.
