how to set up ftp server?
Hello,
Do I need a separate program to host ftp uploads? Either way, if someone can give me guidance, i would appreciate it. thx |

You will need something called an FTP server or FTP daemon.
Depending on the OS you use, you might already have a version of a server shipped with the operating system. However you could try something like a tucows mirror: http://tucows.idirect.com/ftpserver95.html and see what you need. NOTE: using such programs are potential risks, be sure you know what you are doing. Also under most circumstances it might be against your ISP's AUP .. make sure you dont lose your internet axs
