cant reply to threads sent through email

im having this problem of replying to any threads from any board (including this one) through the link i get in email. i go to reply to the message and it asks for username and password. i enter it and then write my message. then i press "post reply" and it asks for username and password again. but then instead of posting reply it just says "No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster". that is all that is on the page. i can post messages and replys fine if i go to the website directly, but cant reply through email links. used to work fine too. anyone know why this is happening? Thanks.

i think it might be more of a browser thing. what browser are you using? and you said you have outlook... why not just use that to get your hotmail stuff?
