Setting default browser.

How do I set Netscape to become my default browser? Currently IE is the browser that activates when I click on a link.

I haven't used Netscape for a while, but I think it's in the preferences, look there and you'll find it.

Then maybe a netscape user can help, if not, go to windows explorer>tools>folder options>file types and associate .url , .htm, and .html extensions with netscape.

Send a message via Yahoo to azscary
Click on CONTROL PANEL>INTERNET OPTIONS and then click the PROGRAMS tab at the top and set the defaults there.

There is a Netscape page called the unofficial FAQ @ http://ufaq.org/ns6_faq.html It Showed me that the settings for default browser for Netscape are in preferences/advanced/system and although I had them already set, I had to reset them-It woks fine now.

I am not aware of any place in control panel/internet options/programs that one can set the default for the browser. There is a lot of other setting but not for a particular browser .
