Hyperlinks

My brother in laws e-mail program will not open hyperlinks. I searched this board and did not get the answer I need. He tried the IE repair, has Outlook Express listed under Internet Options>Programs. The hypertext is blue but it is dead. Are there any fixes for this???

Make sure that it is a valid link first. To do so, right-click on it and select copy shortcut. Then paste the shortcut into your browser window. If it works, then you have other problems. OE tends to have some problems opening links in forwarded emails.

Does your B-in-Law use Popup Stopper? If he does and has the security set high, hyperlinks won't open unless you hold down the control key when you click on the link.
Just a thought.

try this. With all IE windows and outlook express closed click start--settings--control panel--internet options--programs tab--click the 'reset web settings' button then ok out. Try the links now.
