Mozilla 0.9.9
Wow, I just started using this thing yesterday after Toaster has been on about how great it works, and am definitely impressed.
I tried Mozilla back in the early beta stage, and it was unstable at best. Now I'm thinking this is everything Netscape 6 should have been, though. Very quick, very stable, and add in the ability to disable popups without disabling javascript or losing mouse-over/mouse-click functionality .

I agree with you Xayd. I tried some eariler versions too and had problems with them, but not with this one. In fact, I have it set as my default browser. I also agree with you saying that is quick and stable.

I have both Mozilla 0.9.4 and Netscape 6.2on my Linux box. Mozilla is faster and cleaner. I think I am going to upgrade to 0.9.9 very soon. The only problem is that since the PCMech updates, the space I am provided to insert my posts is about 1/3 the size of the pre-updates box.

Yea, that is one thing that a lot of people around here has asked to be changed (the window width I mean).
And just to ask how is it that Netscape can take a good browser and mess it up so bad? Last edited by Gabe; 03-25-2002 at 08:42 PM. |

I tried to get it but all the geek-speak isn't clear on what to click to download the browser.

If that site is slow there's a list of mirrors as well. |
