Anybody know how to remove cydoor manually from the computer? I was able to clean it up using ad-aware but then the host program wouldn't work and I had to reinstall in order to use the program
Any ideas? |

"...but then the host program wouldn't work..."
It's normal for freeware programs to not work after removing the spyware. Most times there's nothing you can do about it. Removing it manually won't change anything. But what program won't work? Is it Kazaa? |

here's a link that works for taking cydoor out of grokster:
http://www.project-insomnia.com/grokster.html it replaces the cydoor dll with a dummy. nice trick to avoid the flashing lights and other annoying ads... -bobo |

That is a great link bobo1. I installed the cydoor dummy into my kazaa file and it is great. No Ads, No pop ups so far. It is just a grey frame. Thanks
