Any suggestions to rid of this stupid "special offer" window that keeps popping up! The window says special offer at the top but there is no offer in it! If I let the computer sit-several pop up! Uggh! I've erased temp internet files, cookies, no luck!

Well when does it pop-up, just online or offline too? At all sites or just one inparticuliar? It may just be a pop-up ad. Lots of sites have them.

yeah, if Popup Killer can't do it, no prog can...... this program is very nice, kills all the most-known popups and you can add that particular popup to you "Black List"... You should give it a try....

A special thanks to those of you who suggested Pop-Up Killer for dealing with annoying ads. It works great! Another fine bit of help from PC Mech.

Check out Ad-Aware too. It's good for detecting spyware programs already on your computer. Since not all spam is caused by cookies...
