Get the latest mozilla build dldz, I'm using it and it works great (even the mail client).

For ad haters, there's also the ability to turn off the window.open function in the javascript source file, so you can have javascript on and no popups to boot.

Xayd,

Where did you see that option? Something like that would send me back to Mozilla in a heartbeat. Although I really do like Netscape 6.2.

Under advanced, it's in one of the sub-menus there.

Mozilla for me is a bug-free and supported version of Netscape 6.2. They're basically the same thing

I have always been a Netscape man and was using version 6.2 untill a few weeks ago. Now I am using IE 6 and have gotten used to it. They both have their strengths.

Wink My opinon

Ok I agree glc I should not have said that. I have been using IE6 & mozzy I only need one browser and I prefer Moz over IE.
Some people might like features on one they don't get with another. Interesting poll though... On my winders machine IE runs great & Mozzy dose'nt. Anyway thanks for the opinons people!

Hey glc,

That's what I set my Opera to look like. I just got rid of all the fluff and hooohaaaa. That's what I like about Opera, you can set it up the way you like it......customize it for you.

Thanks for defending me,

IE 6 Sucks

I use IE 6 and I hate it.

I loved 5.01 though.

Hi all,

Have used IE 5.5, mostly, with no problems. Really liked Netscape 6.2, but it kept dying. Hated Opera 5, but love Opera 6 which is now my browser of choice. When in Linux I use Mozilla or Galeon.

I have always used netscape in the past, but over the last year my communicator 4.76 will not display some pages. It just keeps trying to load but never completes. I tried Netscape 6.2 but it crashes constantly. I like the profile manager in Netscape but I have had it with AOLScape and am switching to IE.

I've gone through a wide variety of browsers....

AOL Browser (3.0)
Netscape on top of AOL (4.78)
Mozilla on top of AOL
Neoplanet (heh) over AOL
IE over AOL
Finally dumped AOL, then DSL with IE 5.5/6

Now, I'm back to Mozilla (1.0 RC1) and i Love it. Stable, fast, and I love the tabbed browsing. Check it out at www.mozilla.org if your looking for a nice alternative to NS/IE.
