smokin Favorite Browsers

I know this will probably resemble another AMD/ Intel question but I am curious what browsers you all prefer.
I currently use IE 6 and Mozilla and they both have they're good and bad points so I would like to hear other opinons.
like ease of use for newbies etc...

Either of these Free browsers , which have a built in pop up stopper . ( don't add , About Blank , to your filter list )
Use very little resources & are as good as any other browser .
Intergrate quitely into your system , do not take over . you can still run your normal browser , if you wish .

I've never used IE, never will use IE. It's not even on my Hard Drive. Won't ever been on my HDD if I have anything to say about it.

That being said, I use Netscape 6.21 - I like the Mozilla browser, but it's still not quite ready for primetime.

I've got both IE6 and Netscape 6.2. I had some probs with IE a while back and was using Netscape....strangely, the IE browser just fixed itself. I'm glad that it did, cuz I prefer IE.

I use IE 5.01 SP2 and works without a hicup!

Dont really see why I might upgrade to 5.5 or 6.0 since I have always heard of some people having problems. I guess if it works, then I shall leave it alone.

Mozilla in Windows. Mozilla and Konqueror in Linux.

I don't like IE because of all the security issues. I try to avoid it when possible.

IE6 in windows. Used Opera when it was free, but now they stick ad banners on the free version. Mozilla in RedHat.

IE6 for me, but I also have Netscape 6.2 installed. I liked Netscape better than IE 2 or 3 years ago, but not anymore. They are both good. I've also heard good things about Mozilla and Opera. I really should give em a try sometime.

I really liked using Netscape until I upgraded to Win98, which hated Netscape. Now I use IE 5.5.
I also hate upgrading software, but that is another long and painful story.

It's clean and simple. I like that. Most of all, it is totally customizable. You can block all the pop up ads, or you can tell it what type of ads to display. You can even tell it what parts of of a web site you want it to update each time you visit. This would make it very fast for people who are still on dial up modems. You can change what the menus look like. On and on and on the list goes. You can really taylor the thing for you.

You can get it free at www.opera.com. One drawback to the free version is that you will have to look at an Opera banner add in the upper right hand corner of the screen. The only way to make that banner ad go away is to purchase the software. I've gotten used to it though. I am running it on Window$ and Linux. Works great on both.

BBBBUUUUUUUZZZZZZZ (buzzer noise)
I loaded it and there is no way I would consider using it (Opera) I'm sure some people like it but it is very GUI and reminds me and the O L of AOL so No I won't use it ...sorry thats my opinon
If I wanted GUI I'd sign on to AOL

dldz: Wait a minute - it doesn't HAVE to look like that! That's what's so good about it! I don't have a single graphic in my broswer except for the ad! Spend some time looking through the help file and the preferences before you make a blanket statement like that.
