When typing yahoo.com or hotmail.com without the http:// or the www brings me to a porno web site. Does anyone know how to fix it ?

Thanks

Hi daisiee69

If you visit frequient porno sites until you clear your history and internet files you will get these pop-sites or your browser will be redirected to them.

FOR INTERNET EXPLORER 5.5 AND LOWER

Go to Tools>Internet options>Temporary Inernet Files> click view files, then go to >View>highlight Select all,and the click delete. After that click ok then click clear history and that should stop the porno sites from loading in your browser.

FOR INTERNET 6

Tools> Internet Options>Temporary Internet files>Delete Files

Then I would check out these sites www.panicware.com and www.lavasoft.de. Pop-up stopper prevents those annoying pop-up from invading your screen when on the internet, and ad-aware will scan your harddrive and will show you all the files that are consider spyware and give you the option of deleting them.

Compaines load files into your system which helps them to determine what your viewing habbits are when you surf the web.

Download and run Startlog.com from the link below. It'll create a text file on your desktop. Copy and paste the contents of Startlog to your reply here. It may or may not show us something. (Startlog.com will not work in windows xp)
