in my opinion the easiest way to get your files there is by ftp. i dont know that server, they may have a online file manager, you have to check. for ftp, i use WSFTP because it doesnt crash as much as Cuteftp. also it is free

OK. 1st thing you need to do is switch your DNS servers from your default (usually something like xx.godaddy.com, xx2.godaddy.com) to whoemever your webhost is (in your case it would probbly be ns.imagelinkusa.net and ns2.imaginelinkusa.net) You webhost will provide you with the correct DNS names. this will then make whomever looks at www.yoursite.com goto your webhost where your HTML files will be. You should be aware that it can take as long as 3 days for the DNS information to resolve to your new webhost, though, usually it is quicker.
You then need to create a page and upload it to your site, i personally like SmartFTP ( http://www.smartftp.com ) |

I got wsftp.... and a welcome email from imagelinkusa...and this is the part that confuses me
Once you receive them, log back into your domain registration account and double check that you have the correct ones. When you sign up for a domain, default nameservers are issued. Your account will not be active unless you have the correct nameservers listed ok, does this mean I go back into my account at godaddy.com?? Im just confused...what exactly is this telling me to do?? |

Your hosting service should give you two nameservers, go back to the GoDaddy control panel and set them.

Who is hosting your account. According to the whois database, the domain whrforums.com is available.
To change DNS info, first ask your host what DNS servers they are using. Then head over to Godaddy, at this link , login to your account, click on Modify DNS information and change the nameservers. Once you change the name servers, in about 24-48hrs, your domain will start resolving, i.e. you will be able to type the address in the browser window. You will have to have an index.html page in your root web directory, for anything to be seen. |

If it's like my host, you will log into ftp.whrforums.com using the username and password your host gave you for accessing your space with any standard FTP client.
Bulletproof is a great program, but can be intimidating for the new user. Some hosts do not allow ftp access, but they will have some kind of web control panel for you to do your uploading and site maintenance. My host offers both, and has a great online manual that covers everything - you need to look around your host's website for that. |
