Outlook express + newsgroups

Hullo

I'm having trouble getting outlook express to download ANY mail from usenet newsgroups.. it's never worked, regardless of what version of IE (currently 6) i use.. the task keeps failing and suggests that i haven't enough memory (i have 384Meg of which a good portin is available) or low HD space (currently 1.5gig is free on the drive concerned)

Now windows is saying i'm missing the exe file MSIMN.exe

I've run NAV etc just to check nuthin nasty is sitting about.. but this problem has persisted through 7rl reinstallations of win98se (not that i'd reinstall windows solely for this reason )

Any ideas what i might be able to do to get around this? WQould having outlook 2000 sitting there be causing problems?

Alternatively what are some other good readers?

any ideas (well, related ones) welcome..

I don't know how to fix your OE, but Free Agent is an excellent standalone free newsreader program - www.forteinc.com
