Downloading from Asus, MM.

How do you do this(I'm trying to download from Asus, and Motherboard Monitor)?

I'm trying to download manual from Asus and it's taking forever, I think it has something to do with this below.

" Please select the site closest to you to download file. Since the update frequency is decided by each mirror site, you may not be able to find some new files from some sites. Please try other sites or ASUS if you got File Not Found error. "

Motherboard Monitor has something similar, just don't understand the thing about mirrors.

"MBM 5 Downloads
Webmaster, please do not link to the files directly, either put them on your own site or link to http://mbm.livewiredev.com so the d/l gets spread over the mirrors. -thank you"

Thanks.

The Asus site has always been slow about downloads. It is not really anything that you can do except maybe try to download at a different time of day or try to find the drivers on another site.

Hi Charles,

It seems when I try from a site location, it takes forever. However, I've noticed that if I click on the filename instead, I usually get what I want.

Charles, mirrors are other servers that host the file you want. So lets say Asus' main server is in asia. The further the server you download from is from you the greater chance that the download will be slow.

They probably have mirrors in the US so that US customers get faster downloads. Always choose the mirror closest to you & if it doesn't say just take a stab at one of em.
