Question Winzip

Is the new evaluation 8.1 download from Winzip site a time limited deal or is it like the 8.0 version?Which should I stick with?
Thanks.

I like WinACE the best. It can decompress nearly everything (I don't care if I get a zip, a rar or whatever, I just take WinAce and open it). It also can compress most of the common formats.

Answer the man's question, guys!

The "evaluation" works just like 8.0 and has some nice enhancements. Well worth the upgrade.

I prefer WinRAR over WinACE. Mainly because its faster. The new WinRAR even supports iso image files.

WinACE does have better compression than WinRAR (except for text files). I use WinACE to compress only when it is a really big file. When it's a small file, the sizes for WinACE and WinRAR are almost identical. WinRAR also seems to open faster on both my comps.
