minor problem with new build
Got the new mirco build together, & it's working so far but I've hit a snag. The onboard NIC is not working.
I know the connection is good, when I plug the NIC in the little send/receive LED even blinks. The driver installs fine. But after that I can't get a signal out to it. Well I've only tried IE, & it tells me that there is no connection "do you want to work offline?". So is it the NIC or what? What programs can I use to test this? Hal you mentioned you've done a lot of builds with this board, have you had any problems with this board & Windows 2000? The motherboard is an ASUS TUSI-M. OS is Windows 2000. thanks |

Yea.. done plenty, but never ran into a snag with one yet. Is this a clean install of Win2K?

I figured it out guys. Kind of a stupid problem. All I needed to do was to restart the cable modem. Sorry to waste your time.
