I still have a video card issue. It is the Voodoo 3500TV. Windows 2k recognized it and install drivers for voodoo 3, which is fine because it works. But I really want to use the TV function out of this card. So the question is how do I go about it. Do I uninstall the present driver and then when it prompts me to select a driver do the "have disk" procedure and install my own drivers or do I install the drivers from the icon itself. Actually I found 2 drivers for this card in voodoo's website, 1) visual reality and 2)tools. How do you install these drivers? Thanks.

I guess this was never a popular video card and maybe thats why nobody here knows how to configure it for win2k. Also the fact that the card came out before the operationg system did. I tried uninstalling Voodoo drivers that win2k installed, so I can proceed to install standard VGA drivers, and then try installing voodoo 3500 TV visual reality and tools drivers for win2k from Voodoo site. What happens is after I uninstall the driver win2k installed I can't find a way to install Standard VGA drivers with win2k. Help!
Something else, if I uninstall the driver win2k installed and reboot, it doesn't give me the chance to pick which driver I want but automatically installs it for me upon rebooting again. Thanks. |
