False Dial-Up Disconnect
While on the internet, sometimes I encounter a very long wait, but the screen will not "time out". I try disconnecting from the internet (dial-up connection), and according to my computer, I am off the internet. However, I cannot re-connect unless I do a hard re-boot (shutting off computer and turning it on again).
I can't seem to just login to the internet using the dial-up window, or even using the logout on the "start" menu. Using the "ctrl-shift-delete" function to get rid of doesn't work either. It's as though the computer thinks I'm still on the internet. A computer friend of mine says it sounds like a virus. I've gone to the "free housecall" website to scan my system, and it claims I'm free of viruses. Any opinions? |

what are you selecting when doing a ctrl-alt-del? If you see RNAAPP, select it and end task.
