Not able to bring up links associated with the mech.?

Got a wierd one here. For some reason my browser won't bring up any links associated with PcMech. I'm using IE 5.5 with SP1 and I've never had any prob with it at all until today. I can browse PcMech but if I click on a link it won't open up a window directing me to it. The funny thing is that it's only associated with the Mech. I've check my security and settings on my browser to see if anything is amiss. I even shut down ZA to see if it was affecting it in anyway but no go...hmmm...strange? Any ideas guys?

Well after hours of surfing it seems the prob doesn't just lie within PcMech, it occurs everytime I click on a link that brings up another window. It won't allow my browser to open more than one window...hmmm.....perplexing.

Ok guys I've found the prob. This is what I found to fix the prob in case anyone ever runs across it.
1.Click Start, and then click Run.
2.In the Open box, type: "regsvr32 actxprxy.dll" (without the quotation marks)
3.Click OK, and then click OK again when you receive the message: "DllRegisterServer in actxprxy.dll succeeded."
4.Click Start, and then click Run.
5.In the Open box, type: "regsvr32 shdocvw.dll" (without the quotation marks)
6.Click OK, and then click OK again when you receive the message: DllRegisterServer in shdocvw.dll succeeded.
7.Shut down and restart your computer.

Not sure Dr. Z, everytime I clicked on a link that opened up another window, it would only bring up the title bar and nothing else, then just hang. I found an old document on a non-microsoft site that said it was a common problem with IE 4.0 and gave the info to correct it. It was great that I found it on a non-microsoft site because when I did go to microsoft's web page it wouldn't allow me to open up other windows that would bring me to any of the support pages. You are right about one thing...Wierd! Never had it happen to me before but the fix cleared it up.
