Two computers

I have two computers at home with my roommates. We dont have internet, is there anyway to do like gaming with eachother like a connection just between the 2 computers?

Yep, each computer needs a network card (NIC) and connect them together (NIC to NIC) with one Cat5 crossover cable.

Yes, you can. You'll need a network interface (NIC) in each machine and a special network cable called a cross-over cable. Once you configure the networking, you'll be able to connect to each other and game.
