EMail
I have built and configured my own server. I have my own web site and am ftp capable. I would now like to start an email service for myself and some friends. Maybe 10 to 20 clients. I want to be able to do everything that my ISP does but on a much smaller scale.
The problem is I don't know where to start. Is there some freeware that I can use to do this? What else do I need to know. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. my url is www.teeb.ca Thanx

What OS are you running on your server? If it's Win32 based, I would look at Mercury Mail from the Pegasus people - www.pmail.com
By the way, could you please condense your signature? We have had a policy change on the forum since you were active previously. From our new FAQ: "Members are required to keep their signature at a reasonable length. Large images are not permitted in signatures. The content of signatures is subject to the same guidelines expected for the entire forum. Pc Mechanic reserves the right to edit or disable any signature that is deemed inappropriate." Thank you very much. |

I'm running win98 SE and PWS. This is a starting point. I was having trouble with loading my web page and tried different web servers and OS's.
Thanx for advising me on the signature. I have been off line for about 2 months and was not aware of the change. |

The images don't appear because that's a Google cached copy of the site, which no longer exists.

OIC. I'll work with what I've got then.
I should still be able to set it up with just the text. Thanx for taking the time to help... |
