cache problems
I used software called Window Washer to clean up my temporary internet files, my real player files, and my documents. Ever since then I cannot get any updated sites. By this I mean that my home page(Yahoo) will stay the same every day and any web page I visit will have not been updated since my last visit. Also, now no site (as in Yahoo Mail) ever remembers who I am and it takes me jumping through a bunch of hoops to get to my account.
The way I have been getting updates involves holding the coltrol key and clicking refresh on every web page. Can anyone advise me what went wrong and what I can do to fix this? I would really like to use Window Washer for certain apps. but not if this is going to persist. Thanks, Dan |

Sounds like it wiped the cookies out of your temp folder. If you using IE, might check: Internet Options->Temp files->Settings->and Check "Every" visit to the page

Thanks, looks like someone changed my setting on me. Must have been around the same time I used the Window Washer. I feel a little better now.
