Internet evidence
Aside from files in the C:\windows\temperary internet files\
folder, and those kept for the 'history' part of internet explorer. Where else can files be that may show where you have been surfing? I mostly mean files that windows would have or keep, not third party software. |

I wasnt so much worried about it as I was courious. You know that ad that you see every once in a while, 'Your not safe clearing history and temp internet files not enough' anyway I got to thinking. I thought I knew windows pretty good and I couldnt really think of any other place that files like that could be. Not that I would be suprised if it was total crap software.

The file is in INDEX.dat in the C:\Windows\Cookies. It's really inaccessable. You have to be some guru in DOS to normally get to it.
But it can be handy for parents who want to know where there kids have been! |

The index.dat file can be opened with notepad and edited.
