I just wanted to ask how would I go about building my own personal website? Any advice and websites would be much appreciated. Thanks

The answer is very carefully. First, you will need a domain name. With domain names for $8.95/yr at Godaddy.com , it is the best option. Once, you decide on a domain name, then you will need someone to host it for you. I use Hostmatters , but there are plenty of good hosts out there. Then you will need to learn HTML, to build your site. Go over to HTML goodies for some good tutorials. Last, comes the hard part, finding some content to put on the site

If you just want to start one, without learning all the HTML, there are a few free sites left that offer space and all the tools. I have several at below site:
