How to limit the connection speed?

hi,

i've got a problem - too much speed. I know i shouldn't be complaining - but i want to control how fast the connection speed to the internet is - any way to do that? In other words i want to slow down the connection on one of my pcs so when somebody is downloading, it doesn't affect my online games

thanx,

keifir

keifir,
Yes, they can be slowed down with Extra Settings.
We will have to know the make and model of modem though.

keifir,
I can't answer your question. There may be a software or tweak to do what you require and maybe someone else knows what the procedure would be.

check out www.speedguide.net. they have tweaks for speeding it up using registry entries, but through those same tweaks you can slow it down.
