How to limit the connection speed?
hi,
i've got a problem - too much speed . I know i shouldn't be complaining - but i want to control how fast the connection speed to the internet is - any way to do that? In other words i want to slow down the connection on one of my pcs so when somebody is downloading, it doesn't affect my online games![]() thanx, keifir |

keifir,
Yes, they can be slowed down with Extra Settings. We will have to know the make and model of modem though. Carl |

keifir,
I can't answer your question. There may be a software or tweak to do what you require and maybe someone else knows what the procedure would be. Carl |

check out www.speedguide.net. they have tweaks for speeding it up using registry entries, but through those same tweaks you can slow it down.
