802.11 Wireless Card
There's some big changes a comin. In my area there are a bunch of geeks starting to go crazy setting up free neighborhood wireless ISPs all over our city each area which has about a 6 block radius though one guy says he can access his site 5 miles away. I happen to be in one of those area hot spots. I know absolutely nothing about this except that access is 20 times faster than a 56K modem. In order to access this ISP, I guess I need some kind of wireless modem card. Does anyone have a recommendation as to what is the best card to get.

Thge best way of handling this is to find out whose wireless equipment they are using and match the card to the manufacturer. It makes troubleshooting infinitely easier and will more than likely give you better performance.
