yahoo mail server on the fritz?
Anyone else besides me notice the Yahoo mail server is erratic when trying to access it the past 3-4 days? Are they also doing something funky to their system on the holiday weekend?

timpoet,
Don't know about Yahoo mail, but CompGeeks is down too. You may have a point about the holiday weekend. Good time for people to clean up and change their sites. Carl |

Well, Gamespot is doing it and so is CNET.com. I think Yahoo is just overloaded with traffic, now that I think about it. Their server is kinda weak, I think, before this happened about a third of the time it gets incredibly slow, would make me feel I was back on dial up again.
Actually, this newest prob is very defined. 90% of the time it won't accept my password when I access it by entering its URL. BUT if I enter it thru the icon on my desktop it works fine. Hmmm. Oh well, as long as it works. |
