You can only have one default email program. The default email program will be used for any email hyperlinks.
This doesn't mean to say that you cannot use both email programs, but that's kind of a pain if you have POP mail accounts. |

If you set Outlook Express as the default mailer, when you click on a mailto hyperlink OE will open. That is how I have it on my system, and there are no problems.

You need to go into Control Panel, Internet Options, Programs, and set your desired e-mail program in there. This will make it the system default.

I think it might actually be a bug. Outlook is my default mail client, but moz still opens up their mail. What I did was just install moz as browser only, since I don't use their mail stuff.

You could technically use the mozilla mailer for *outbound* emails only. The only issue is if you like to save copies of your sent messages. If you *do* like to save messages, then any email you send via a web link would be saved in your mozilla mailer, while any other mail message sent would be saved in Outlook. Or.... you could always just BCC yourself in any message. Cripes, it just gets messy!
![]() Oh, and if you decide to go this route (using mozilla for web link outbound email), be sure to either NOT fill in a POP server *OR* set the mozilla mailer to leave a copy of the message on the server (if you fill in a POP server). |

ii like outlook express the only thing i was getting at is, i do send a lot of links to friends but when im using mozilla i cant.so normally you can go to file ...send a link and off it goes.this way i have to save it ,find it and send it. alot quicker the other way unless im doing something wrong(thats the most logical conclusion)
