Boom Internet Explorer won't load certain pages

My Internet Explorer 6.0 will not load aol.com pages or techtv.com pages. I use a modem. However I have aol on my system and I can view aol.com and techtv.com no problem. I have tried to configure the modem back to its original settings. Please help!

It doesn't sound like it would have anything to do with modem settings. Your modem does not operate at the level of actually reading IP addresses. The prob would have to be in your browser. I always keep netscape around to at least test with to see if its an IE prob or not. The content advisor would be capable of causing such behavior if someone turned that on. I use it on my kids PC and actually have *.aol.com blocked out on theirs.
