Can An ISP Spy On You or Send You a Virus
Since all of us are connected to some type of ISP, I was wondering about how much power an ISP has in regards to direct access to our computers, monitoring our systems and even having the ability to transmit software or viruses into our systems. Do they also have our phone numbers or the ability to get them.

I would say that an ISP that is caught doing this would not be in business for long. Either by law or word of mouth they would be out of business. Yes they could have an employee that might go out of bounds, but they could do that anyway and working for and ISP might make it easier. As far as your phone number, I believe it is standard procedure for you to provide that information when you sign up.

ISPs have a record of everywher you go on the internet and if your e-mail is through your ISP they also may have a certain amount of it stored.
