A Crazy Bud
A bud suddenly can't get any mail in NS and all his saved mail is gone. He has saved every mail gotten for past 2 years. He said he had 5000 saved and another 2000 unread. He's a packrat who drives me up the wall. He had the mail sorted by quarterly folders. He takes alot of heat about that and similar things and I always urged him to "back up" - he didn't. Seems the folders should become overwhelmed after a load like that and simply dumped everything. Ever hear of NS doing that?
BTW, he's spent so much $$ at Best Buy on repairs for 4 pc's it's pitiful. He buys HP's exclusively and can never find the restore disks, much less even buy a copy of Win98. He buys a new pc when BB can't fix (or say they can't). His son's pc is locking up and not booting and he allegedly had 10,000 songs he's downloaded - can you spell corruption and crash?! He's been into pc's since the early days and got me interested in 'em. If I remember right, he hadn't defragged one pc in 4 years and took him almost 24 hours when I finally forced him to. Are there that many folks clueless? Windows has enough annoyances without any dumb help.

"Are there that many folks clueless?"
No, lazy, ignorant, brainwashed by television, schools, and politicians. We live in an era where people do not think or learn for themselves. Just get into a discussion with them, all you here is whatever they heard from someone else. |
