Angry Fire Search Bars...

Ok i need some help. You know how when you type something in a search bar and then the next time you just need to type the first letter and then it pops up? Well i need to know how to delete those. Just so you know, I have Windows XP and I have this problem on MSN Explorer. I already tried deleting my Cookies and history and all that but it doesnt work. Thanks!

Hi CoryC787, welcome to the PC Mech forums!

Open IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete > Clear Forms.

Hope that helps.

Or you can delete them one at a time. When you type in a letter and the list appears, arrow down to the one that you want to get rid of, right-click it and select delete. You may also want to turn off Autocomplete completely in your browser.

Then go here and get SpyBot Search and Destroy, install it and run it, select all, and clean all.

Click on the Search and Destroy Icon on the left side. This will bring up a screan with a bright blue title bar. Click on Check All and let it run then when it is finished click on select all and fix selected problems. let it run as if you have a whole bunch of garbage it will look like it has stopped.
