A lil bit of math to take you into the weekend :-)
Could someone shout what 10k and 15k are in bytes/sec
Im trying to configute a hotline server for a friend and he wants to set bandwidth speeds on the guest accounts Thanks all, James |

Transmission measured in bits per second, 8 bits to byte. 10k divided by 8 = 1250 bytes per second. 15K divided by 8 = 1875 bytes per second.

Don't forget about a little overhead too for error correction and formatting the packets! At 15Kb you won't see quite 1.875kBytes per second, but should be close!
