Work gave me a laptop. Also a cell phone. I was alive when the Atari had a way to put a pnone on a device to connect it to a modem.
It would be great if that exists today. Both are free to use. Any ideas? |

Go to the local Cellular outfit, and tell them you want a modem for it to connect to your laptop. They'll gladly oblige.

I set up a laptop for a customer that wanted to check his e-mail when out on his boat. I put a 3Com global modem in along with an adapter cord to hook it up to his Nokia cellphone. Works great - at 9600 baud.........
