Hotmail close
Hi, can anybody help? Apparently my hotmail account has been cancelled without any explanation, I did try and reason with a guy who had joined in on a discussion on a newsgroup, I sent him 3 emails, to see if we could sort this problem out.
Nothing was said wrong so I don’t know whats going on, I now need to contact Hotmail to find out whats going on, surely they would have contacted me, with a reason, it seems that he must have reported me, but what for. I am wondering if anybody knows their email address. P.S. I really need to sort this, because this could happen to anybody, surely there has to be some evidence for this to happen. MB |

Are you sure you were cut off from Hotmail because of this incident with him?
Was this discussion/incident with this guy on a MSN site? If so, then you may be out of luck.... I can't find a customer support email address for Hotmail. What forum or site were the 2 of you on? I can try to find one from there.... |

I am not exactly sure if my acconnt has ben stopped because of this incident, but I have another account with hotmail, which is OK
It was just a newsgroup I accessed through outlook express. nothing to do with MSN, if I could contact hotmail I could ask, them to send me an explanation. |

You could try some guess-work, like sending an email to support@hotmail.com or webmaster@hotmail.com would be worth a shot, yo never know :-)
admin@hotmail.com would be another idea too (but be carefull - you dont want them accusing you of spaming on top of whatever else they think you've done) :-)) |

Thanks, I think thats what happened, because I was trying to get this guys attention- sending him 3 emails I think he has reported me for something of this nature. I can't beleive hotmail would not give me benefit of doubt. MB |

Now remember, Hotmail has the policy as of a yr ago that if you don't go into your acct after 30 days then they close it.

I know what you are saying but I was using it only 3-4 days before hand, plus normally hotmail do reactivate if you are "just over" the 30 days. MB |
