could anyone advice where i might be able to get free webspace, and maybee tell me what things i should look for when i search for free webspace a

I use crosswinds for image hosting and whatnot, although the pop ups get annoying and you can't outside link the pictures. I think I'll be getting a domain and either some hosting or upgrading to a static IP so I can host my own stuff...

If you want a free host with PHP and MySQL support, tripod.co.uk is the best IMHO.

Been using them for a while, nice service, easy to use. Plus 50 megs is a lot for free.

I wouldn't really suggest free web space if you're serious in having a site. Try tripod.com if you just want images and whatnot. If you're serious and want a site for starters, i suggest, hostrack.com.
